Briargrove Communications Policy
At Briargrove, communication is through multiple channels. Teachers communicate using HISD email and Parent Square. Administration communicates using the Briargrove website, the Principal's Newsletter, the Marque, emails/SMS/callouts via School Messenger, Town Hall meetings, and PTO meetings. Any classroom specific questions or concerns, please email your child's teacher. You are welcome to email the Principal with any other concerns not addressed through other channels.
On enrollment, every family is assigned an HISD email address. Briargrove teachers and administration are required to use that HISD email address to communicate with parents and students. Parents and students are expected to know the family HISD email address and check it for important information every school day. Your students HISD email address is
